Armed with a Bachelors degree in fine art...

I pursued formal training for cosmetic tattooing from The Beau Institute in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. I learned the fine technique of micropigmentation; layering of pigment in conjunction with the skin’s natural tone, geometry of the face, in relation to eyebrows, eyeliner and lip tattooing. I have also studied with world renowned masters such as Mensura Megy Hodzic, Selen Shenalp and Ella Sakalauskiene.

When 2011 opened its doors, I relocated Pretty in Ink to Columbus, Ohio when she was 3. I call Pretty in Ink a she. (lol) Columbus has proved to be a fun and alternative city to cater to diverse clientele.

Pretty in Ink has had quite an adventure in its 12 short years. She’s moved state lines in 2011 and rebuilt herself from the ground up. First established in a tattoo studio, then a hair salon, a medical spa and in 2018, a beautiful loft in the Discovery District of downtown Columbus, Ohio. This is where Pii gained some square footage to house in person class trainings and additional beauty providers!
