WHO IS SHE?

Hi, I am Mandi.

With a BFA, I am an aesthetics artist with over 15 years of experience in cosmetic tattooing. Since the beginning of my career, I have specialized in machine hair strokes. My 5-star rated business, Pretty in Ink, has a reputation for quality care and stunning work. This has resulted in a steady expansion of the Pretty in Ink staff and service offerings. I intend to evolve that same concept with trainings.

I pursued formal training for cosmetic tattoo applications, in 2008, from The Beau Institute in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. I learned the fine technique of micropigmentation; layering of pigment in conjunction with the skin’s natural tonality and geometry of the face in relation to the eyebrows. I have also studied with world renowned masters such as Mensura Megy Hodzic, Selen Shenalp, and Ella Sakalauskiene.

When 2011 opened its doors, I relocated Pretty in Ink to Columbus, Ohio. Columbus has proved to be a fun and alternative city to cater to diverse clientele.

Pretty in Ink has had quite an adventure in its 15 years. She’s moved state lines in 2011 and rebuilt herself from the ground up. First established in a tattoo studio, then a hair salon, a medical spa and in 2018, a beautiful loft in the Discovery District of downtown Columbus, Ohio. This is where Pii gained some square footage to house in person class trainings!

I am proud of the empire being built and the lives I have helped change. My creative drive is also fueled by teaching and now launching a brand new product, The Pretty Grip, engineered with the artist’s hands in mind.
